Edited: If a transaction is sent back from compliance for an issue on the contract that is anything other than a missing initial, signature or executed date, DO NOT MAKE CHANGES TO CONTRACT. ALL CORRECTIONS MUST BE MADE ON AN AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT. Executed contracts are set in stone and only missing initials to changes made prior to being executed (signed and dated) can be added. All other changes must be made on amendment. If you resubmit a correction that has been changed on contract, it will be sent back for you to correct the right way. God forbid, but if you end up in court one day, you don't want to face a judge who can see two different versions of a contract held by each side of the transaction. Help us protect you by correcting documents the right way.
